Brico: Simplifying Regulatory Navigation for Fintechs

Brico helps fintechs navigate complex U.S. regulations, making it easier to understand and obtain necessary licenses across all 50 states.

I came across Brico earlier this week down a random Linkedin rabbit hole. As someone who's day dreamed about opening their own fintech many times, the scariest part has never been building the product, handling the operations, or even the client acquisition.

Its navigating regulations. Absolutely terrifying.

The US is basically 50 countries stacked under an overcoat masquerading as a single unit. Trying to figure out what licenses you need for your brand of financial services - whether lending, banking, or payments is a mess (at times x50). The idea that a platform can help navigate that process without burying you in legal fees and muddling through opaque opinions is groundbreaking. Frankly, I think it unlocks considerable value for new and existing institutions that want to build and expand their product suite. I tried to figure out how to get this done independently and the process is (unsurprisingly) NOT friendly.

Anyone on this email use Brico / know them? Ping me! I'd love an intro to see what they're all about (beyond the landing page). Would prefer not to go through their sales channel and get some SDR sicced on me...biggest burden of being a buyer that's not ready to pull the trigger. Wonder who's going to solve for that? 😉
