We've watched institutions make expensive vendor mistakes. We built the tool to stop it.

Dilly Labs is building the infrastructure layer for institutional vendor decisions — starting with the procurement process that most financial institutions still run on spreadsheets and institutional memory.

The Observation

The problem wasn't invisible. It was just accepted.

Financial institutions make vendor decisions that shape their risk posture, their compliance exposure, and their operational efficiency for years. The stakes are high and the consequences of getting it wrong are real — contract lock-in, regulatory scrutiny, costs that compound quietly until a renewal forces a reckoning.

The process most institutions use to make those decisions hasn't changed in decades. Referrals from peers. Partial RFPs run over email. Evaluation criteria that live in someone's head and disappear when they leave. No structured record of what was considered, what was scored, or why a decision was made.

That's not a technology gap. It's a structural operating failure with financial and regulatory consequences. And it's completely solvable.

Our Approach

Infrastructure, not software.

Most procurement tools are point solutions — they solve one part of the problem and leave the rest to spreadsheets. Dilly is designed differently. The goal is to become the default layer through which regulated institutions discover, evaluate, contract, and govern their vendor relationships — the system of record for every vendor decision an institution makes.

That means structured procurement workflows today. Governance, spend intelligence, and renewal management as institutions deepen their use of the platform. And a vendor catalog that improves with every engagement — because better data produces better matches, better benchmarks, and better decisions.

Leadership

From buyer to builder.

Founder & CEO

Before founding Dilly Labs, Kanishka led risk and product functions at BlueVine and Stenn — managing multi-vendor decision engine implementations, launching regulated financial products, and running risk teams accountable for millions in exposure. He has sat on the buyer side of the vendor decisions Dilly is built to improve, and has personally experienced what happens when those decisions are made poorly. That operational history shapes every product decision at Dilly Labs.
